Tallow Beard Balm
GRIZZLY was poured for the beard that lives outdoors: wind on the ridge, woodsmoke at the yard, minus-twenty on the winter feed round. It leads with the same locally rendered grass-fed beef tallow as our salves — sebum-identical, so it feeds skin under the beard instead of sitting on top of it — softened with cold-pressed jojoba and meadowfoam so it works through coarse growth in one warm-palm pass. Foraged cedar tips, balsam poplar bud and wild bergamot from the Similkameen benchlands carry the scent: resinous, dry, and gone from the room in twenty minutes. Four ounces is a season's worth in the deepest tin we make.

The tallow standard
GRIZZLY is poured on locally sourced grass-fed beef tallow — leaf and kidney suet from Similkameen and Nicola valley ranches, wet-rendered twice, salt-washed and filtered to 25 micron. It is sebum-identical, carries vitamins A, D, E and K2 in their native fat, and it is the majority of the batch by weight in every salve, stick and roller we make.
