SOLACE
Calm & Rest Salve
SOLACE is named for what the Icelandic highlands give you after the weather breaks: stillness you can feel in your shoulders. We built it on the same locally rendered grass-fed beef tallow as every tin we pour, then folded in lavender and chamomile grown for high-country aromatics and sea buckthorn for overnight skin repair. It goes on soft from the 2 oz tin, carries a quiet herbal-floral scent that settles rather than announces, and finishes with no grease on the pillow. The pencil-sketch woman on the label faces into the wind — the Vegvísir compass beside her is the old Icelandic wayfinder's mark: may you never lose your way, even in storm. Smooth it into temples, wrists and the back of the neck when the day is done.

The tallow standard
SOLACE is poured on locally sourced grass-fed beef tallow — leaf and kidney suet from Similkameen and Nicola valley ranches, wet-rendered twice, salt-washed and filtered to 25 micron. It is sebum-identical, carries vitamins A, D, E and K2 in their native fat, and it is the majority of the batch by weight in every salve, stick and roller we make.
