From sign-in to certificate.

Workshop students receive an enrolment code with their booking confirmation. If you are studying without attending a session at the Princeton apiaries, request a key directly and we will issue one against your email.

Sign in with Google or with an email and password. The account is what carries your chapter ticks, quiz scores, exam results and practical sign-offs — always use the same one.

Enter the code on your student desk. Tier 1 unlocks the first-season path; Tier 2 adds the advanced apiary chapters — queen rearing, Buckfast breeding, brood disease diagnostics.

Chapters are numbered as a teaching path with prerequisites. Use the reading-mode toggle to surface beginner or advanced depth, the table of contents to jump by topic, and tick each chapter complete as you finish it.

Anatomy and life-cycle plates run in Explore mode and Quiz me mode. Every round randomises the parts and the answer choices and mixes beginner and advanced prompts. Your best score is saved and an unfinished round can be resumed later.

Printable field cards go in the truck; the video library pairs University of Guelph HBRC footage with the matching chapter; the Princeton season dashboard tells you what the valley is doing this month.

One hundred multiple-choice questions drawn from a larger bank and shuffled per attempt — moderate to difficult, no filler. You need 75% or better. Results are recorded against your account with a topic breakdown so you know what to re-read.

Written knowledge is only half of it. An inspector watches you work a live colony against the beginner or advanced skills list — smoker and approach, frame handling, queen and brood reading, disease checks and mite sampling — and records the pass.

Once the exam pass and every practical skill are on record, the certificate unlocks on your progress dashboard as a downloadable PDF, sealed and dated under the Foraging Bee mark.
