The Highland Line is the feminine counterpart to our Rockies-built men's provisions: the same locally rendered grass-fed beef tallow, the same 2 oz tin, the same colour-coded system — drawn instead from the Icelandic highlands. Feminine in scent and softness, rugged in build.
Inspired by
The highlands of Iceland — glacier, moss and volcanic rock.
Iceland's highlands are not gentle country. Glacier melt cuts through black sand, moss holds to lava rock, and the weather turns three times before noon. That contrast is the whole brief for this line: salves soft enough for temples and collarbones, built tough enough for hands that work outside. SOLACE closes the day with lavender and chamomile. SKADI cools tired legs with glacier mint and juniper. EMBLA warms cold mornings with ginger, rose hip and arctic thyme. Each tin carries the pencil-sketch wayfinder portrait and the Vegvísir compass — the old Icelandic mark for never losing your way in storm.
Colour as the system
Highland Forest for calm, Glacier Blue for cool, Ember Rust for warm — the same colour logic that runs the men's line, so a shelf of tins reads at a glance.
The same tallow standard
Leaf and kidney suet from Similkameen and Nicola valley ranches, wet-rendered twice, salt-washed and filtered to 25 micron. Sebum-identical, and the majority of every batch by weight.
