Propolis is the hive's immune system — conifer and poplar resin gathered bud by bud, then worked by the colony into a seal nothing gets past. We scrape ours by hand from Princeton frames, never buy it in, and extract cold and slow over weeks so the volatile compounds survive the process. What lands in the amber dropper tastes of balsam and bench-land conifer, and carries the terroir of one valley.
